GENERAL DESIGN PROCESS
CONTACT ME
First things first. Send me an e-mail, call me or text me and tell me a little bit about your business and what you are looking for. I will get back to you with a quote and a projected timeline. This is totally FREE and I am happy to answer all of your questions and concerns about your project. After the details of the project are finalized and agreed upon I take a deposit for the project (usually 50% down) to begin.
RESEARCH + CREATIVE DIRECTION
You will receive a questionnaire to fill out with all of your business details and goals. I research designs that have been successful in present and past styles and trends that relate to your industry and company. I put together a design board on Pinterest in order to get a clear direction before any designs are created. You are invited to collaborate on the board. You can also send me email me any links of design ideas that you might have.
DESIGN + CREATION
I create design concepts based on our chat & research. I revise and improve the design based on your comments and requests for changes. Completing the final design or designs also includes creating in the proper format. The project might need to be completed in a print-ready file for print publication, for example, or as a JPEG for inclusion on a website.
I DELIVER. YOU CELEBRATE.
Once the design or designs have been approved by you (only two-three revisions), I send you the completed files.

DISCOVERY PROCESS
I feel it is a critical step to chat with my clients first. When I first meet with you, I have a lot of questions. These questions are designed to not only figure out your business's style preferences, but also to get to the heart of what it is you need your website to communicate to your past, present and future clients.
ANALYSIS & PLANNING
I review all of the content gathered from our initial meeting. I do extensive research on various themes (or web templates) to find one that best suits your needs depending on your hosting. Once I have gathered all the necessary information, I send you the themes that based suit your business needs and YOU choose the theme that works for you.
DEVELOPMENT & IMPLEMENTATION
This is where everything comes together and the real magic starts to happen. I setup and install the website on YOUR hosting account incorporating all content YOU provide. Once the development is up to my standards, I then put the website through a series of tests in all of the major current web browsers to ensure that it will work for you. I send the development link to you for review.
FINAL REVISIONS, TRAINING & LAUNCH
If you have any changes you would like done to the site, now is the time. I will re-test the site and fine tune anything where adjustment is needed. I feel it important to do a 30 minute – 1 hour training session with you over the phone or in-person on how to use the site. I walk you through step by step on how to use your new site and maintain it on your own. Once the site is approved, it is made live to the world!
If you'd like me to be your monthly website admin instead of doing it yourself, just let me know!
